Your order ships refrigerated. Please call customer service if your spirulina doesn't arrive cold. Place your spirulina in the refrigerator once it arrives.

Raw spirulina is still living & breathing so we recommend taking the lid off for a minute upon arrival.

Typically, after about 14 days the consistency will become wetter or you will start to see blue leaking out. This means it’s time to freeze it. You can always freeze it earlier if you prefer and this will keep the product fresh for longer. Once frozen, it can stay good for about 6 months. Avoid repeatedly thawing and freezing your spirulina. Because of this, we recommend freezing single servings in an ice cube tray.

Your shipment is sustainably packaged. Please recycle the box, cardboard protector, insulation and spirulina jar. Keep the ice packs for reuse.
