Delightfully creamy and full of nutrition, this avocado spirulina smoothie will get your mind and body off to a good start.
Ingredients
- 1 medium sized banana (we prefer to peel, chop and freeze the night before for a colder smoothie)
- 3.4 cup chopped cucumber
- 1 cup plant-based milk
- 1 cup spinach or kale (again, you can freeze it beforehand)
- 1 pod frozen spirulina
- 1 tbs hemp seed, chia seeds, or flax seeds
Instructions
- Mix everything in a blender and thin with coconut milk or water if too thick
- Top with your favorite fruit and a sprinkle of granola or hemp seeds
