Avocado Spirulina Smoothie

Delightfully creamy and full of nutrition, this avocado spirulina smoothie will get your mind and body off to a good start.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium sized banana (we prefer to peel, chop and freeze the night before for a colder smoothie)
  • 3.4 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1 cup plant-based milk
  • 1 cup spinach or kale (again, you can freeze it beforehand)
  • 1 pod frozen spirulina
  • 1 tbs hemp seed, chia seeds, or flax seeds

Instructions

  1. Mix everything in a blender and thin with coconut milk or water if too thick
  2. Top with your favorite fruit and a sprinkle of granola or hemp seeds
