Choco-Almond Energy Balls

When you're looking for an afternoon pick-me-up or a snack to take on a weekend adventure, these little energy balls are your winner! Make them in advance and store them in the fridge.

Ingredients

  • 1 pod of room temperature spirulina
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup of your favorite nut butter
  • 1/3 cup honey or alternative sweeteer
  • 2 scoops of your favorite protein bowder
  • tbs chocolate chips
  • Optional toppings: melted dark chocolate and powdered freeze-dried raspberries.
Instructions
  1. Place all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix to combine using a spatula or clean hands.
  2. Once combined, use a soup spoon for a consistent size and the form the dough into balls in your hands.
  3. If you want an extra touch of sweetness, you can dip the chocolate balls in melted chocolate and then roll them in powdered freeze-dried raspberries.
  4. Store in a container in the fridge.
