Seeds, fresh fruit, and spirulina come together perfectly in this vibrant bowl. Have it for breakfast or after a workout to replenish your vitamins and keep your muscles happy.
Ingredients
- 1 spirulina pod
- 1/2 ripe avocado
- 1/2 cup frozen sliced banana
- 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 handful of spinach or baby kale
- 1 cup plant-based milk
- 3 tbs nut butter (we like almond for this smoothie!)
- 1 tbs chia seeds
- 1 tbs flax seed
- Top with your favorite fruits, granola, and seeds. We like figs, cinnamon granola and some cubed melon for a visually pleasing dish!
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor, and pulse until smooth.
- Pour into a bowl, add your toppings of choice, and enjoy while it's chilled!
