Spirulina Guacamole

Everyone's favorite green dip, now with an extra boost of protein. Your taste buds won't know the difference but your body will!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pod of spirulina
  • 1-2 medium sized tomatoes
  • 2 small limes (juice from 2, zest from 1)
  • 1 cup minced cilantro
  • 1/3 cup finely minced red onion
  • 1/2 chopped jalapeno
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Add all the ingredients except into a Molcajete except for a ripe avocado. 
  2. Once everything is lightly blended together, add in the avocado flesh, leaving it slightly chunky for that authentic texture.
  3. Enjoy with tortilla chips or spread on some toast for a tasty breakfast!
